History
The Financial Stability Alliance for South Central Indiana was formed in the spring of 2010 when United Way of Monroe County brought together the many nonprofits, financial institutions, and local government agencies that were helping residents build financial stability. The FSA partners knew they had the opportunity to make these programs and services more successful if they were planned comprehensively, linked to one another, and well known by other service providers. Since then, the Financial Stability Alliance has worked effectively to foster community-wide collaboration around financial stability and asset development, and to bring together partners concerned about the economic stability of individuals and families in our community.

Mission
The Financial Stability Alliance for South Central Indiana increases collaboration and information sharing among financial stability partners and service providers in Brown, Greene, Monroe, and Owen counties.
